Location: VancouverAbout the RoleWe are seeking a QA Engineer who is passionate about leveraging test automation and AI-driven technologies to improve software quality and reliability. This role goes beyond traditional QA and requires a strong understanding of modern testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and emerging AI-augmented development practices.You will play a key role in shaping and evolving an AI-enabled QA framework, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and reliability.Integrate AI-driven testing methodologies into the software development lifecycle in collaboration with engineering teams.Use JIRA and similar tools to manage test activities, track defects, and report issues effectively.Continuously evaluate and adopt new test automation tools and best practices to improve overall testing effectiveness.Participate in continuous learning to stay current with emerging QA, AI, and automation technologies.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience & Technical SkillsProven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in test automation.Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, Jenkins, or similar.Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.Strong experience using JIRA for test management and defect tracking.Experience with test planning and management tools (e.g., Zephyr or equivalent).Experience testing web applications, native applications, and backend APIs.Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, especially in AI and machine learning–driven QA solutions.
