You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Software Quality Engineer - Vendavo Enterprise Pricing Platform, you will design and execute both automated and manual tests, debug issues, define corrective actions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role calls for strong technical skills, sharp analytical thinking, and a passion for delivering exceptional software. \n
THE OPPORTUNITY Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases. Review and analyse system requirements for completeness, accuracy, and testability. Document and maintain comprehensive test cases, results, and test plans. Write, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality at every stage. Work both independently and in team-based environments. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline testing processes. Interpret technical and business requirements to define test strategies. Conduct and document risk analyses. Evaluate user interfaces for consistency, usability, and functionality. Research and assess new tools, technologies, and testing approaches. Drive innovation in testing methodologies to enhance product quality.
THE SKILL SET 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer Basic knowledge of Programming (Java, JavaScript, Oracle) Strong expertise in manual exploratory testing for both UI and API. Ability to document and maintain exploratory test specifications. Critical thinking skills to challenge and refine product requirements. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing acceptance criteria. Solid understanding of Agile practices, especially SCRUM. Clear, concise, and professional written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to analyse and debug failed automated tests (UI and API).
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting including: Selenium (C#), Groovy and Playwright
