Role & seniority: Senior Software Engineer (10–16 years preferred) focused on bootloader and embedded firmware verification.
Stack/tools: Bootloader/TF-A, Linux kernel, Bare-metal, ARM-based boards; device drivers; JTAG/Emulators; cross-compiling; C/C++; Python/Shell/Tcl; Git; Pytest/Jenkins; LDRA; test automation; peripherals (UART, I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, etc.); design tools as nice-to-have (VIVADO/VITIS).
Board bring-up of software components (bootloader, secure boot components, platform managers) and bring-up for Linux/bare-metal stacks on ARM boards and emulation platforms.
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans to evaluate firmware functionality, security, and efficiency using emulation/pre-silicon and post-silicon verification; analyze failures and drive resolutions with the development team.
Automate functional/system tests, integrate into the test framework, manage test artifacts, perform regression testing, triage defects, and drive code coverage for boot-level firmware (LDRA or equivalent).
10–16 years in bare-metal or Linux kernel driver/application development; strong C/C++ and embedded systems background.
Experience with verification/testing of embedded software/firmware; device driver verification on Linux/bare-metal/RTOS.
Proficiency in cross-compiling, debugging, and bootloaders (TF-A), Linux kernel, device trees; familiarity with peripherals (UART/I2C/SPI/USB/PCIe, etc.); scripting
