Role & seniority: Senior QA Automation Engineer (4+ years in software testing/automation)
Stack/tools: Web, cloud, microservices; SQL/NoSQL; big data (Hadoop, Kafka); Java, Python; CI/CD; performance testing; analytics dashboards; AWS EC2, Docker, Redshift, EMR
Develop test plans to assess scalability, fault tolerance, stability, and backward compatibility for products in development
Develop, improve, and maintain scalable test automation strategies
Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues to resolution; evaluate approaches/technologies for test methodologies
BS/MS in CS or equivalent; 4+ years in software testing/automation
1+ year coding in Java and Python
Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks and performance testing (load/concurrency)
Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
CI/CD and test coverage analysis; self-driven with strong problem-solving
Experience testing in distributed/SOA architectures
Experience with Hadoop and Kafka; cloud tech (AWS EC2, Docker, Redshift, EMR)
Testing analytics, dashboards, and visualization software

Products and features under development are used by millions of users, and the QA Engineer will be expected to be the quality gatekeeper for the product. The position is full remote based in Latin America.
