Our Global Products Solution (GPS) Technology team supports the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) businesses, and we are seeking a senior testing specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, integrity and quality of the Bank’s MX.3 environment during annual upgrades and ongoing change cycles. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced testing specialist to take ownership and lead end-to-end non-regression testing activities to safeguard production readiness ahead of each scheduled upgrade. This will ensure that all functional and risk-critical components continue to operate correctly post-upgrade, particularly across trading, pricing, risk analytics and middle-office processes. Further, you will be preparing and conducting regression testing in relation to our bank-wide project to replace the core banking system. Note: This will be a 12 months contract role with an external agency payroll provider. KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Test Management & Project Work Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning processes within GPS Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive non-regression test suites covering core Murex functionalities including trade booking, pricing, lifecycle events, real-time portfolio management, P&L, Greeks & sensitivities computation, End of Day reporting, and all Trading & Sales features and functionalities. Design, prepare and execute regression tests to assure proper implemention of downstream data flows into our new core banking system. Execute structured test plans in coordination with business users, Quants, Developers and operations for each Murex upgrade cycle. Identify impacted areas due to Murex version upgrade (i.e. functional changes, deprecated features, API modification, etc.) and assess associated risks. Collaborate closely with Murex and Core Banking project teams and DevOps to validate key workflows across different asset classes. Utilize Murex-native Tools (e.g. MX Test, etc.) to automate and streamline testing efforts. Document defects, track resolution progress, and verify fixes in collaboration with internal development and support teams. Contribute to UAT coordination, preparing test environments, data sets, and expected outcomes for business validation. Support post-go Live validation and burn-in phases. Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, aiming for increased automation and early defect identification. Identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce risk Stay updated on Murex release notes, business requirement for enhancement and front-office systems evolution. Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations YOUR PROFILE SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Professional and Technical Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3) in a testing or functional analyst capacity. Proven experience in leading non-regression and system integration testing during Murex upgrades or patch deployment. Strong understanding of capital markets products, especially FX, Rates, Credit, Fixed Income, and Commodities. In-depth knowledge of Murex architecture, core modules and testing tools. Solid understanding of front office modules, including deal capture, curve building, pricing, real-time portfolio management, risk and P&L computation and attribution. Familiar with DevOps practices in an agile environment. Strong skills in automation tools for data validation (e.g. SQL, Python, Shell, etc.) Personal and Social Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field. Financial engineering or programming (nice to have) Able to work autonomously in a global team setup to take on initiative with a positive attitude. Solution oriented with analytical thinking & problem-solving mind set. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
