Role Overview
We’re looking for a SDET 1 who’s passionate about quality, eager to learn, and committed to delivering flawless digital products. You’ll work closely with our engineering and design teams to ensure every release meets our standards for performance, usability, and stability.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test suites across frontend and backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and Go. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Write and maintain test automation using tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, and Sinon. Perform API validation and contract testing using Postman, REST clients, and custom scripts. Build test coverage for UI components in Storybook. Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor, report, and track test results using reporting tools and dashboards. Ensure code quality and performance by identifying and advocating for testability improvements. Conduct exploratory testing when necessary to identify critical edge cases.
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in Node.js. Working knowledge of Python and Go, especially for testing or scripting backend services.
Solid understanding of testing practices: unit, integration, e2e, mocking, and stubbing.
Nice to Have
1+ years of professional software development experience Experience with performance and load testing tools. Familiarity with Docker and containerized test environments. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Background in TDD/BDD and Agile methodologies.
