Data QA Manager

Position Overview

Data QA Manager to join our dynamic and Innovative Technology team. As a Data QA Manager, you will take on a leadership role within the Quality Assurance (QA) team, specializing in data quality assurance for software applications. A Data QA Manager is responsible for leading and managing the data quality assurance efforts within an organization. In this role, you will work on one or more software and data products in the Annalect Engineering Team. You will participate in technical architecture, design and development of software products as well as research and evaluation of new technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy aligned with organizational objectives. Define standards and best practices for data quality assurance processes. Lead efforts to profile and analyze data across systems to identify issues related to accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. Establish and enforce data quality assurance processes, including data validation, cleansing, and monitoring. Design and implement data quality checks and controls. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality. Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and trends for stakeholders. Maintain documentation on data quality issues, resolutions, and improvements. Lead and mentor a team of data quality analysts or engineers. Provide guidance on data quality best practices and ensure the team's professional development. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality procedures, processes, and standards. Provide training to teams involved in data-related activities to promote a data quality mindset. Collaborate with the Data Delivery technology teams and architects to define and develop solutions Gather business requirements for the building of the Data Quality Dashboard that will include the full set of functionalities from exception identification to remediation

Required Skills

10+ Years of Experience in Data Test Automation, Data Comparison and Validation. Strong understanding of data structures, databases, DB Procedures, Packages, and Functions. and data manipulation techniques, Familiarity with data quality tools and platforms for profiling, cleansing, and monitoring data. Proficient in SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and validation. Working experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL Alchemy for ETL Strong analytical skills to identify and solve data quality issues. Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team focused on data quality. Strong understanding of Data Warehouse/Data Lake Architecture and Development Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of data quality initiatives.
