About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-II) with strong experience in test automation across Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop applications, along with Web UI automation.
You will design and maintain automation frameworks, build scalable test suites, and help drive continuous quality in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automation frameworks from scratch for desktop (Win/Mac/Linux) and web applications Develop end-to-end automated test suites using Python (PyTest / Selenium / Robot Framework) Create reusable libraries and utilities to improve automation scalability and maintainability Analyze automation failures, debug issues, and partner with developers for fast resolution Produce meaningful test reports including execution summaries, insights, and defect tracking Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous execution Collaborate with product and engineering to build features that are testable by design Mentor and support junior QA engineers on automation and best practices Contribute to internal tooling, documentation, and test processes
Qualifications
3–6 years of experience as an SDET / Automation Engineer
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Familiarity with API testing and automation Exposure to virtualized / cloud-based execution environments (VMs, Docker, remote runners) Experience working in agile teams and sprint-based development cycles Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Ability to drive initiatives independently and take ownership of quality outcomes
