About The Role

We are the leader in Kubernetes Backup and Disaster Recovery. Veeam Kasten, our data management platform purpose-built for Kubernetes, provides enterprise operations teams with an easy-to-use, scalable, and secure system for backup and restore, disaster recovery, and application mobility with unparalleled operational simplicity.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to infrastructure and frameworks used to develop and test our Veeam Kasten data management platform, purpose-built for Kubernetes, ensuring top-tier security and excellence. Our team is passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.

What You’ll Do

Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures used for our product development and testing Building test frameworks and enhancing product test coverage Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines Developing tools to automating our technical daily routines Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates Preparing technical documentation and specifications

Technologies You’ll Work With

Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Golang, Bash, Git, OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, VMware TKG(s), etc.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in test automation Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills

Bonus Skills

Experience developing in Golang Experience with public cloud APIs like AWS
