We are looking for an experienced RF Test Engineer that will collaborate across Engineering teams to bring advanced Satellite Communication products to market. The RF Test Engineer position is responsible for automating verification and validation testing and ensuring engineering designs meet product specifications prior to market release. The duties of a successful team member include developing test plans, procedures, test automation and performing validation testing on satellite communication equipment such as Solid-State Amplifiers (SSPA’s), Multi-Band Transceivers, and Block Up-Converters (BUC’s) across C, X, Ku and Ka bands.
Ability to take system, hardware and software level requirements and develop verification test procedures. Creation and setup of test fixtures and test stations. Ability to create, interpret, modify programming source code in multiple languages such as Python, C++ and Labview for automated test software. Supports Integration and Test, Design Verification, First Article and Production test. Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex satellite communication equipment and firmware.
