Job Description QA Engineer – Automation & Manual (Selenium, Appium)
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain test automation using Selenium and Appium, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities Define test plans, test cases, and traceability to requirements/user stories.
Web: Selenium WebDriver (Java or Python)
Mobile: Appium (Android/iOS on real devices & emulators) Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured. Execute manual testing including smoke, regression, sanity, and exploratory testing. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab). Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely defect closure. Monitor test coverage, pass rates, defect leakage, and release readiness. Conduct basic performance testing (JMeter/Lighthouse) and security testing (OWASP top issues). Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams; participate in design and code reviews.
