Role & seniority: Senior Network Software/Hardware Test Engineer (onsite) with 10+ years of experience.
Stack/tools: SONiC NOS, SAI, FRR, Redis DB, Docker, Minigraph; Broadcom SDKs (SDKLT/OpenNSL) a plus; Python; Robot Framework; Git, Jenkins; traffic generators (Spirent, IxNetwork); lab/testbed environments.
Design, develop, and run comprehensive test plans to validate SONiC functionality on Broadcom-based switches; test advanced L2/L3 features (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, QinQ, multicast).
Validate SAI integration, ASIC driver behavior; perform deep-dive debugging across ASIC, NOS, and control/data planes; automate functional, regression, scale, and performance tests.
Collaborate with the SONiC open-source community, contribute fixes/enhancements/upstream improvements; validate optical modules and transceiver management protocols.
10+ years in network software/hardware testing; strong L2/L3 networking knowledge; hands-on SONiC NOS and SAI-based architectures.
Proficient in Python; experience with test automation (Robot Framework).
Solid understanding of SONiC components (SAI, FRR, Redis DB, Docker, Minigraph); familiarity with Broadcom SDKs; experience with traffic generators; Git/Jenkins/Docker; ability to test in lab environments; strong debugging and documentation.

What You'll Do

What You Need To Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field 10+ years of experience in network software or hardware testing Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and switch/router architecture Hands-on experience with SONiC NOS and SAI-based architectures Proficiency in Python and experience with test automation frameworks (Robot Framework)
Solid grasp of SONiC architecture: SAI, FRR, Redis DB, Docker, Minigraph Familiarity with Broadcom SDKs such as SDKLT or OpenNSL (strong plus) Experience with traffic generators like Spirent or IxNetwork Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and lab-based testbed environments Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills
