Role & seniority: Senior Site QA/QC Engineer (project contract, onsite)
Stack/tools: QA/QC management system; inspection and test plans (ITP), method statements; non-conformance (NCR) closure; site safety programs; filing/record-keeping; progress reporting
Implement and maintain the QA/QC management system at site; coordinate QA/QC activities and meetings
Review, inspect, and test all quality procedures, materials, and works to ensure contract and technical specifications are met; supervise on-site works
Identify, document, and close NCRs; prepare weekly safety and quality reports; monitor critical items and ensure proper turnover
10+ years in construction/QAQC, Civil/Construction (high-rise or heavy), with knowledge of quantity surveying, materials QC, and punch list processes
Ability to enforce contract/spec compliance on site; meticulous inspection and reporting; strong attention to safety and site management
Self-starter, detail-oriented, honest, responsible; able to work onsite and coordinate with stakeholders
Experience in ISO/quality systems, experience in turn-over to completion, familiarity with painting/site documentation workflows

Our Construction Phase Services group is looking for Site QAQC Engineers that will help proper implementation and maintenance of the quality management system on behalf of the client. Monitor all quality related activities of the project as well as the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Implement the QA/QC management system at site. Acts as QA/QC in site and facilitate QA/QC coordination meeting to update status on given workload Carry out review, inspection and checking of all quality and construction related procedures and test plans on site, ensuring activity at the site are as approved method statement and inspection test plan Studying the work plan submitted by the contractor and suggests any modifications. To watch and inspect the site works and assure that it is done in full accordance with the contract and technical specifications. Supervising the works on site in accordance with the contract. Inspecting and testing materials prior to their use at site as per QAQC procedure. Ensuring the correct implementation of the site works according to technical specifications and quality of materials Checking and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor, taking photos on a regular basis and also on account of defective work Checking and ensuring that the site is arranged as per the site management plan and that all measures are taken for site safety and the safety of the third parties in the vicinity of the site Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent. Prepares weekly report and suggest and instruct additional safety measures if needed Preparation of list of critical items and its close monitoring. Maintain a filing system for all site memos and instructions, measured quantities of work and materials on site, reports and other documents and correspondence pertaining to the painting activities Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction Pursue professional development opportunities. Recommend improvements and innovations. Education Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience
General Experience: At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience in construction is an advantage Preferably knowledgeable in Quantity Survey, Quality Control of Materials and processing of Punch list and turn-over of property to completion. Experienced employees specializing in Engineering - Civil / Construction (High Rise Vertical/Horizontal) / Structural or equivalent. Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, hardworking, honest and responsible. This job offer is project contract to be based onsite. Applicants must have work right for the Philippines.
