Position Summary... What you'll do... About the Role: As an Automation Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimizing automation solutions for our evolving supply chain network. This role will focus on ownership of key strategic initiatives and enhancements to drive eCommerce growth, increasing delivery speed and decreasing cost to serve. The ideal candidate will be able to combine design acumen with strategic thinking, effectively collaborating with End-to-End partners to drive execution in dynamic environments requiring comfort with ambiguity. This is an onsite role based on our Home Office campus in Bentonville, Arkansas; we are not considering remote applicants, but a full relocation package is available. Key Responsibilities: Deploy Automation Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure successful execution of automation and technology projects. Assess automation system requirements, document integration plans, and provide regular status updates on project progress. Support the development of business cases, process updates, and assigned project activities. Apply continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to identify and implement process enhancements. Interpret supply chain process flows and quantify outcomes to recommend improvements. Improve Customer Promise Work closely with End-to-End strategic partners to drive eCommerce growth, increasing speed and reducing cost to serve. Provide recommendations to leadership on strategic direction and investment priorities. Leverage data analysis tools to explore and interpret complex datasets, develop hypotheses, and provide actionable insights for strategic decisions. Collaborate & Communicate Utilize visualization tools to present data and build compelling narratives for business partners and stakeholders. Analyze and manipulate data using advanced analytics tools to identify trends, outliers, and correlations relevant to operational performance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying automation solutions, with demonstrated success in project execution. Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in dynamic environments. Experience supporting site launches or large-scale supply chain initiatives is highly preferred. Proficiency in data analysis, business process design, and process improvement. Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Familiarity with engineering economics, continuous improvement methodologies, and mechatronics (including CAD and control systems) is a plus.
