Create software test plans/specifications aligned with requirements and quality expectations.
Define, set up, and maintain test frameworks; analyze logs/traces/results; document defects.
Perform component, integration, and software tests; ensure verification coverage; track progress and communicate status; support cross-functional teams.
Experience with Python-based software/test development; Linux testing.
Verification techniques and software quality measures; strong debugging skills.
Familiarity with Azure/JIRA/Bitbucket/Confluence; basic configuration management/DevOps tooling; knowledge of IEC 62304.

Project
For this position, we are looking for a person who would ensure the quality, correctness, and verification of embedded software components throughout the development lifecycle. The work includes preparing test strategies and specifications, planning verification activities, and ensuring that software releases meet defined requirements and quality standards.
Work
Depending on the tasks, the role may also involve developing automated tests, maintaining test frameworks, and supporting engineering teams with verification-related input.
Create software test plans and test specifications in alignment with project requirements and quality expectations. Define, set up and maintain test frameworks, including interfaces to automated build and integration pipelines. Perform requirements analysis and execute component, integration and software tests according to defined schedules. Analyze test logs, traces and automated test results, and document findings with clear defect reports. Maintain and improve component-level test cases based on requirements and design documentation. Ensure full verification coverage by following structured engineering and Scrum-based development processes. Support cross-functional engineering teams on software quality topics and provide verification input when needed. Track verification progress, prepare reports for release milestones and communicate status to project stakeholders. Maintain and expand verification infrastructure, including automation and cybersecurity-related test capabilities.
Experience in software and/or test development using Python, expertise with testing in a Linux environment would be a plus. Solid skills of Verification techniques and Quality measures for development of software systems. Comfortable working with tools like Azure, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, or similar, and basic knowledge of configuration management and project tools (e.g., DevOps, Polarion). Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 62304. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
