Top 3 responsibilities

Lead/perform functional testing for new product development and NPI readiness; guide test operators

Collect/analyze first-pass yield data, conduct failure/ data analysis, and implement test improvements; support test software

Must-have skills

BS in CS and/or electronics/electrical engineering (MS preferred); 3–6 years of relevant testing experience

Computer hardware/networking experience; strong data analysis and technical writing

Effective verbal/written communication; ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to understand engineering drawings/specs
Nice-to-haves

Experience with ASP.NET/C#, batch scripting; additional programming or scripting experience

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Test Engineer I.
Role and Responsibilities
Supports new product development process and introduction, time integrated planning, and conducting Functional Testing (computer/component) Supports staffing needs and provides vision and inspiration to peers and assigned personnel Supports new product introduction readiness and training Supporting repair techs with engineering hold units and evaluates repeat returns Responsible for directing testing and supporting test operators on test issues Collects and analyzes first pass test yield data and perform test gap analysis Evaluates and improves test software, assess rr data with quality team and supports the implementation of 5S methodologies Responsible for analyzing, identifying, documenting and communicating test issues to customers by conducting data and failure analysis Translates concepts and information for trainers, engineering Techs and test operators in support of personnel development and processes improvements Performs new product introduction test validation, develop test solutions for new product introduction platforms and process walkthrough Responsible for setting up and monitoring network, troubleshoot for hardware and software issues to ensure efficiency and problem free operations Performs other duties such as data entry (real time, shop floor, etc.), report management and working with cross-functional teams on accomplishing organizational objectives
Skills, Education and Training
BS degree in computer science and/or electronics/electrical engineering ; M.S. preferred 3 to 6 years of relevant testing experience Computer hardware and networking experience Experience in .Net / SQL & batch scripting (asp.net & c#- preferred) Experience with hardware diagnostic solutions Good verbal and written communication skills are required Understanding engineering drawings and specifications
Computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Visio, Project Data analysis capability Technical writing ability Ability to work with minimal supervision
