Role & seniority: Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Participate in full SDLC including Backend Testing: requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect tracking, release and maintenance.
Design, develop and deliver high-quality products with cross-functional teams; create detailed test plans and test cases for applications and data pipelines.
Improve test strategy to reduce manual testing; develop and execute automation scripts; prevent/report/analyze/track issues efficiently.
6+ years QA automation experience; backend testing experience; Intermediate coding ability in Python or Java
Strong experience writing clear test plans and test cases

Responsibilities
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (including Backend Testing), encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, through to product release and maintenance. Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and all other partners) to design, develop, test and deliver high quality products. Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured and effective test plans and test cases for applications, including Data applications, Data platform and pipelines. Prevent, report, analyse and track issues in an effective and efficient mannerImprove test strategy to reduce manual test efforts - Design, develop and execute Automation scripts.
Requirements
At least 6+ years of QA engineering experience in Automation and familiar with Backend Testing + Coding (Intermediate coding ability in Python or Java ). Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience in testing Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed servicesStrong SQL testing, understanding different SQL statements. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Bonus: Knowledge in the Blockchain or Web3 domain.
