We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and JavaScript-based test automation. The role involves designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks for modern web applications, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability across releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright Write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code using JavaScript Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements Ensure best practices in automation, test coverage, and reporting Actively contribute to improving QA standards, processes, and tooling

Mandatory Skills & Experience

7-12 years of experience in Test Automation / Quality Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Excellent proficiency in JavaScript Experience in UI and API test automation Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, test design patterns, and reporting Experience working with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

Advanced experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) will be an added advantage Exposure to cloud-based applications Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Knowledge of performance or security testing

Location & Work Model

Base location: Chennai Candidates should be willing to work from the Chennai location as per business requirements
