Project Role: Test Automation Lead Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Must have skills : Retail Store Operations Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, you will be at the forefront of transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve leading initiatives that enhance quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will work collaboratively with various teams to evolve predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to drive excellence in quality assurance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in testing methodologies. - Continuously assess and improve testing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Retail Store Operations. - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in testing environments. - Proficient in writing clear, comprehensive, and structured test cases based on functional and technical requirements. - Strong understanding of Defect Life Cycle and hands-on experience in Defect Management using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
