Further information at ZEISS India. .Test software applications for the global production network of ZEISS Vision Care and ensure trouble-free deployments by developing test automation · Contribute to the quality assurance of the applications with modern software tools and develop them further · Create Test plans with software development services like Azure DevOps · Design and implement automatic test sequences and the necessary test environments or examine manual tests · Maintain test automation solutions by continuous adaption of test suites · Develop and elaborate software modules and algorithms in addition to new software testing · Analyze system behavior, provide test results, report bugs and support the projects in optimizing solutions · Exchange ideas, approaches and challenges within an internal quality assurance team · Be involved to shape the test strategy, design, implement and develop further new software tests, system testing approaches and test environments · Be responsible of quality assurance awareness within in your team · Participate in projects with global production and the individual production sites · Travel between our headquarters in Aalen, Germany and Lisbon, Portugal (at least 40% working with the team in Aalen, Germany) · An education in (business) computer science or another course of study with a focus on information technology or software engineering · At least 4+ years of professional experience as a software test automation engineer · Strong technical understanding and programming skills, preferably with programming language Java, add on would be Phyton · Experience in designing and creating automated software tests by mainly using Gherkin with Cucumber and Java, additionally Selenium · Motivation to improve approaches and structure by developing scripts or other likely supportive tools · Preferably experience in continuous integration and automated deployment (CI/CD pipelines) as well as in the definition, creation and execution of software tests · A structured, independent and goal-oriented way of working · Good communication skills, high willingness to learn · Strong quality awareness and great team spirit with an agile mindset · Fundamental German skills, both written and spoken · Fluent English skills, both written and spoken Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Step out of your comfort zone, excel and redefine the limits of what is possible.
