• As a Senior Quality Assurance - Automation, you will design, develop, and maintain automated tests to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases. We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Automation, API testing, Performance Testing, and System Validation. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with Playwright, solid scripting ability, and a strong understanding of cloud architectures, load balancing, caching, and database performance.

What you will be responsible for

Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for Web and API testing. Design and execute system, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end test scenarios with high-quality documentation.

Build and maintain automation frameworks (mandatory: Playwright) using JavaScript, Python, Shell scripting, etc. Perform API, load, and stress testing, and analyze application behavior under different load conditions. Use JIRA for story and defect tracking, and GIT for version control. Utilize at least one test management tool (TestSigma/Mabl/AIOTests/AquaCloud/ Xray etc.). Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Interpret logs, metrics, and dashboards (CloudWatch, Grafana, New Relic). Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to understand requirements and fix issues. Investigate, document, and track defects, helping with root cause analysis. Install and configure test environments and databases. Conduct load and performance tests (e.g., with Artillery).

What you will bring to Maropost

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (B.Tech, MCA, etc.). 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in automation testing. Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright. Proficiency in JavaScript (Angular), Python, Shell scripting. Experience with automation tools such as Mabl/Testsigma/Katalon, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured. Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals (load balancers, caching, DB performance metrics).
