Project Role: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description: Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Minimum 8+ year(s) of experience is required Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Application Production Support Engineer with deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Unix/Linux, PowerShell, and SQL, along with a solid understanding of actuarial concepts and must have application support background. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of critical production environments, ensuring exceptional stability, availability, performance, and resilience of applications that are heavily dependent on SSMS, SQL databases. This role demands a strong problem-solver who can lead incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and proactive risk mitigation, while driving continuous improvements in operational excellence. With domain knowledge in actuarial principles, the candidate will effectively interpret business requirements, assess data impacts, and collaborate closely with actuarial, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and compliant solutions. The role also expects mentorship of junior engineers, automation of operational tasks, and contribution to strategic initiatives that enhance system reliability and scalability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues, deploy changes using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development. - Design and implement application features that enhance user experience and meet business needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and SQL. - Good To Have Skills: Unix Scripting, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Experience in debugging and troubleshooting application issues. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices.
