Hardware Engineer – PoE Test & Measurement (Design Focus)
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer for a full-time, design-focused role developing Power over Ethernet (PoE) test and measurement tools. This position emphasizes board-level hardware design applied to PoE-enabled instruments. This is not a maintenance or repair role—the focus is on new product design, hardware architecture, and system-level engineering. Prior hands-on experience with PoE or TDR is required. Role Focus Board-level hardware design for PoE-enabled test and measurement products Analog/digital circuit design, power delivery, and interface circuitry Hardware bring-up, validation, and system-level testing Limited low-level FPGA work (integration or modification only; not a primary focus) Ensure designs meet reliability, manufacturability, and DFM/DFT standards Education & Experience BS/BA in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience 5+ years of hardware design experience Proven experience designing PoE and/or TDR-based systems Key Responsibilities Design and develop PoE test and measurement hardware Perform analog and digital circuit design for system-level products Support hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging
Create and maintain design documentation: schematics, specs, test plans Evaluate new technologies to drive product innovation Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product introduction Required Technical Skills Hands-on experience with PoE and/or TDR technologies Strong board-level analog and digital hardware design
