Role & seniority: Engineer II or Senior Integration & Test Engineer (Software & Simulation Focus)
Location & work type: Washington, DC area; Full-time regular employee
Python for test automation, scripting, data analysis
Simulation environments: Gazebo, Unreal, or custom frameworks
Test automation and CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins
Software-in-the-Loop / Hardware-in-the-Loop / Vehicle-in-the-Loop (SIL/HIL/VIL) and simulation-based testing
Develop automated regression, integration, and system-level tests for Hivemind software quality across releases
Create, execute, and maintain test plans and documentation in simulated environments; diagnose and drive fixes with development teams
Design and implement simulation-based test frameworks; build tools/utilities to automate testing, data processing, and analysis
Bachelor’s in CS, robotics, EE, aerospace, or related field
3–5 years in software integration, testing, or QA (robotics/aerospace/autonomy preferred)
Proficiency in Python; experience with simulation environments and test automation
Knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and software testing principles (integration/regression/system-level)
Strong analytical, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills; ability to work in fast-paced, scaling environment; U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance
