Position Overview

• We are looking to hire a QA Senior Engineer to join our team at Accrete. The role will be involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the product created by developers is fit for purpose. Some of the duties include analysis of the product, mitigating risk, and preventing issues.

• The QA Engineer will be responsible for building and executing test cases and maintaining them by continuously evaluating and including them in regression test suite for newly integrated features. He/ She will be responsible to build and execute comprehensive suites of automation. He/ She will also be responsible for working closely with product managers, software developers and engineering managers to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Responsibilities
• Analyze user stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility from testing perspective
• Strong exposure to SDLC and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and test life cycle

Execute all levels of testing: System, Integration, Regression, Performance and E2E Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Playwright/Selenium Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle Independently create and maintain detailed test cases and test plans Perform API testing using Postman and Pytest, including automation Conduct performance/load testing using Locust and Postman (Collection Runner/Newman) Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution Collaborate with development, product, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables Take ownership of individual deliverables while actively contributing to team goals Support cross-functional QA tasks and provide backup assistance when required Requirements 6–9 years of experience as a QA Engineer in manual and automation testing roles Proficiency in Python, Pytest, and Playwright Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, Unittest, or similar Experience with performance testing tools such as Locust and Postman Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies Strong test planning, execution, and defect management skills Ability to independently deep dive into issues and control the defect lifecycle Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment Team player with strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership
