Amazon’s global fulfillment network enables any merchant in any of the geography ship items that you order on Amazon, to any place on earth. There are a variety of ways in which we can acquire items from vendors to our warehouses, ship items from one location to another, and several intermediate locations through which the package travels before reaching the customer. There are millions of such packages, each with different attributes, and different delivery requirements. What results is a highly dense graph of source, intermediate and destination nodes, with arcs between them representing possible paths for packages, with different costs and times along each arc. Accounting for all these constraints, and maximizing the number of shipments shipped, while minimizing cost, providing a variety of delivery options and maximizing delivery performance in the Amazon Delivery stations.

QAE works closely with 20+ engineering teams to ensure high quality bar and defect free mobile app release. A successful candidate will have a strong technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence the team’s decisions. You should be passionate about advancing mobile customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience Experience in manual testing Experience in automation testing Knowledge of QA methodology and tools Demonstrated passions around software quality, and technology. Demonstrated ability to learn and develop technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in API & Mobile testing Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control Strong computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithm design and problem solving skills Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations
