What You’ll Do as a Staff Validation Engineer – Backend QA at Arteris

Join our innovative team and contribute to the quality and robustness of a high-end backend application dedicated to NoC topology manipulation.

In this Staff-level role, you will define and implement backend validation strategies, develop state-of-the-art automated tests, and work closely with software developers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality EDA software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement validation strategies and processes for backend applications Develop and maintain automated tests using state-of-the-art methodologies Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report defects Participate in code reviews and unit testing to ensure code quality Solve technical issues and optimize test performance Use Confluence for documentation and Jira for task and project tracking Follow Agile Kanban principles for task and project management Communicate with other teams to ensure overall product cohesion

What You Bring

8+ years of experience in software verification and Quality Assurance Significant experience in automated testing and testing frameworks Good understanding of testing principles and agile development methodologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Curious, results-oriented, and rigorous mindset Self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with programming languages EDA background, with the ability to understand basic SoC design paradigms Experience with digital hardware generators, methodologies, and related concepts

Education Requirements

PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation

Estimated Base Salary: PLN 220,000 to PLN 260,000 Gross annually. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal pay equity for similar roles.
