Role & seniority: Validation Engineer, mid-level (2–5+ years in process/quality/validation)
Stack/tools: Validation master plans; MVP; DOE; FMEA; CP/CTQ; software validation; cross-functional design input; Minitab; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; QMS (ISO13485:2016, 21 CFR 820)
Develop and own Master Validation Plans for new equipment/change projects; define efficient, high-quality validation and qualification approaches
Lead site-based validation activities (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ), write protocols/reports, ensure documentation per Convatec QMS
Liaise with R&D, manufacturing, software validation SMEs, and external vendors; train engineers on protocols and reporting; ensure knowledge transfer and compliance
2–5+ years in process/quality/validation engineering with operations/manufacturing exposure
Strong analytical ability; independent, self-starter; excellent written/spoken communication
Experience with validation planning, DOEs, process FMEAs, and cross-functional collaboration
Proficiency in MS Office; statistical tools (e.g., Minitab); basic project management
Six Sigma/Lean training; advanced statistics; environmental, health & safety/regulatory knowledge
Experience with equipment/process validation and CAPA/QMS documentation; external NPI validation
Project management experience and vendor management
