Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing tests, developing test cases, conducting manual and software testing, and ensuring overall quality assurance. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as reviewing requirements, identifying test scenarios, executing test cases, and reporting defects.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA perspective on feasibility, risks, and improvements.
Automation & Tools Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Implement and manage continuous testing pipelines in CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Functional & Non-functional Testing Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Work with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, Gatling) to identify bottlenecks.
