Full Description

NVIDIA is looking for a Product Test Engineer located in Taiwan, Changhua. Candidate is expected to perform production testing control and problem solving of Silicon Photonics products. This job allows you to work in a complex, exciting engineering environment handling challenging IC testing activities. NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. What you'll be doing: The engineer will process material through a variety of equipment including but not limited to testers, handlers, and sorting equipment- probers. Tasks will involve utilizing basic to higher level technical and troubleshooting skills for debugging both hardware and software issues in all aspects on SPIL test floor. This includes monitoring pre-test preparation of material and hardware including setting up the test environment as per engineer requests. During test execution the engineer will ensure testing is executed and functioning as required throughout the testing process. The engineer must be able to debug and resolve issues that are related to equipment as well as test related issues. This role consists of a broad scope of skills including attention to details, organization as well as good written & verbal skills. The engineer needs to be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently as task types change. The ability to communicate is critical. The engineer will need to communicate to local planning, engineering and management teams as well as connect with NVIDIA engineers based at remote locations. Communications methods will consist of face-to-face interactions, email, phone, online conferences and instant messaging. What we need to see: Bachelor technical degree in a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of proven experience as Test/Product Engineer. 3+ years of proven experience supporting test floor operations. Good verbal/written communication skills in English are required. Computer literacy and basic data analysis skills are required. Test stations/Test program debug experience. Strong presentation, interpersonal skills. Candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations. Very high problem-solving ability. Must be a self-starter capable of leading own activates as well as supporting team activities. Ability to work on off-shift with minimum of supervision. Flexible in work hours: Working during night shifts - Only when required as part of NPI or production issues. Working onsite mainly at SPIL Changhua and traveling to SPIL Taichung from time to time is required. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Knowledge in SW programming (C++, Perl, Linux, Python...) Advantages for knowledge in data analysis (JMP). Electro-optic experience.
