Full Description
The team you'll be working with
Due to the nature of the work of our client, the successful candidate must be eligible for SC Clearance (or already cleared).
Specific requirement for this clearance is a minimum of 5 years, continuous, verifiable UK residency (if not already cleared).
What you'll be doing
Define and write comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts (system test, system integration test) based on requirements and designs, proving the system works
Understand the design and the implementation details and assess the affected areas and risk areas that the implementation can introduce
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Perform manual system tests and system integration tests across multiple environments as well as utilising a variety of test tools to enhance testing efficiency and identify vulnerable areas of the software
Test newly developed software, existing software upgrades and deployments to ensure quality is maintained
Perform sanity and regression testing in an agile environment with continuous integration and deployment of new releases
Identify, raise, prioritise and track defect reports through to conclusion
Write detailed defect descriptions and work with developers to prioritise and assign bugs depending on the business impact and severity on timelines to test and go live
Participate in test reviews, walkthroughs and sign off processes
Support the test lead in planning, reporting and stakeholder management, deputising where necessary
Ability to execute testing tasks independently, yet work collaboratively within the team on major decisions and respond to high-level guidance & support
Create a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability and quality
Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders including project managers, test leads, business analysts and client stakeholders.
Good communications skills and ability to articulate the impact of defects to non-technical stakeholders
Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.

What experience you'll bring
You should currently have or be eligible for SC Clearance
ISTQB Foundation (or higher) or equivalent
Proven experience as a test analyst in a similar role in a complex system integration project
Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies, tools and best practices
Experience of translating business requirements into legible, complete, executable test cases
Experience of creating and executing test cases with relevant focus and context (System Test, Integration Test, UAT etc)
Experience of testing business processes
Nice to have
Implementation and use of Provar for test case design and execution
Testing of Salesforce Service Cloud
Co-ordination and management of User Acceptance Testing
API testing
Experience in Agile delivery environments
Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks
