Full Description

As a QA Engineer, you will focus on testing a sophisticated telco cloud orchestration platform designed to manage VNF, CNF, OpenStack, OpenShift, and AI-driven automation processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to design and execute tests that ensure high-quality software delivery and smooth orchestration of telecom services. The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud-based environments, networking technologies, and scripting knowledge to automate test processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute manual and automated tests for telco cloud orchestration platforms. Write, maintain, and improve test scripts using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand new product features and network service requirements. Identify, report, and track bugs related to cloud orchestration and network service deployment. Ensure compliance with telco standards and best practices during testing. Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports. Participate in CI/CD processes for automated testing, with exposure to Jenkins

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with REST service test automation (Postman, or other tools/frameworks) Experience with the load testing tools (JMeter, or other tools/frameworks.) Experience in UI test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright with TypeScript and JavaScript. Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to analyze and interact with UI components. Experience in integrating UI automation tests with API and backend test workflows. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, Bash) for automation testing. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing tools. Familiarity with bug tracking using Jira and test management tools like Jira Agiletest Solid understanding of telecom networking standards, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and other cloud-native technologies. Experience with AI/ML-based systems or platforms that enhance network automation. (is a plus) Experience in testing cloud orchestration platforms and services in telecom environments. Knowledge of OpenStack, OpenShift, VNF, and CNF technologies. ISTQB certification or other relevant testing certifications. (is a plus)
