We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of web-based software applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manual and automated testing, experience working with modern test frameworks, and the ability to develop clear, well-documented test plans and procedures. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
What will you do?
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for web-based applications Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies
Do you have what it takes?
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in software test engineering 2+ years of experience testing web-based applications Experience writing scripts or using automated test frameworks to test software functionality Experience creating and maintaining documented test plans and test procedures Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience working with IT or software development OR 8+ years of experience working with IT or software development in lieu of a degree
