Role & seniority: IoT/Embedded Systems Verification Engineer (mid-level); 3+ years in end-to-end IoT verification; B.S. in EE, CS, or related field preferred.
Stack/tools: Embedded firmware, mobile and cloud applications, BLE/WiFi/Thread connectivity, cybersecurity; verification planning and testing; P-Diagrams, DFMEAs; performance, regression, and acceptance testing; collaboration with development teams.
Plan, develop, and execute verification plans and test cases for complex IoT systems (embedded, mobile, cloud).
Identify, document, and help resolve defects; generate detailed test reports; influence product quality in design reviews.
Support development of product requirements and verification coverage; coordinate equipment and validation activities.
Experience verifying complex end-to-end IoT-enabled solutions (firmware, mobile, cloud).
Strong testing capabilities (functional, regression, performance, acceptance).
Understanding of IoT connectivity (BLE, WiFi, Thread) and cybersecurity basics; able to contribute to DFMEAs/P-Diagrams.

As needed, help with product verification according to: Inspection, Analysis, Demonstration, and Test.
Execute various types of testing: functional, regression, performance, and acceptance. Identify, analyze, and document defects; collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders. Participate in design reviews to influence product quality early in the lifecycle. Participate in the development of product requirements for the purpose of developing the verification plan simultaneously. Support the development of P-Diagrams, DFMEAs, etc. to ensure proper verification coverage.
Experience with IoT products: Firmware (embedded software), Mobile and Cloud Applications (including front and backend applications), Connectivity (especially BLE, WiFi, and Thread), and Cybersecurity (including maintenance, updates, offensive/ penetration testing).
