We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer that would design the testing strategy, perform hands-on mobile and backend testing, and build the automation and monitoring needed to launch a reliable product quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automated test suites: unit, integration, API, and end-to-end, covering both mobile app and backend Define and maintain QA processes and standards, introducing best practices for test planning, execution, and reporting Manual testing of mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend services in a microservice architecture Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure testability and early detection of issues Drive continuous improvement of release quality, deployment pipelines, and overall developer productivity Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and long-term fixes
What you’ll bring
5+ years of professional QA experience, including hands-on experience testing mobile applications and backend systems Strong background in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) Experience testing backend services and APIs in a microservices environment
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (we use the following; experience with similar tools is also valuable)
Backend automation: Go
Frontend/test automation: TypeScript + Playwright
Mobile automation frameworks: XCUITest, Kaspresso Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms Familiarity with test reporting and observability tools such as Allure or equivalent Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) and setting up alerts/dashboards Strong communication skills in English
