Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Conduct 508 and WCAG accessibility audits of client web applications
• Develop and support automation scripts for accessibility testing
• Collaborate on enhancements to the automation testing engine

Identify

• Automation gaps
• Features that cannot be automated
• Work closely with the manual testing team to ensure full coverage
• Log, track, and retest accessibility compliance defects

• Built a custom Java-based Selenium Engine
• Keyword-driven framework
• 400 automation operations

Qualifications

6 years of experience in

• Application development
• Systems testing
• Or related technical roles
• 2 years of test automation development for 508 compliance

Experience training others on

• Section 508 standards
• Accessibility development and testing

Strong knowledge of

• WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
• Test automation for 508 accessibility issues
• WCAG standards
• Experience building automation scripts for accessibility
• Ability to train and mentor others on accessibility compliance

Preferred

• JAWS (Job Access With Speech)

Selenium, especially

• Selenium with Axe accessibility library
• Accessibility Management Platform (AMP)
