Role & seniority: Experienced Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer (Employeneur), senior-level within TMC’s growth phase.
Stack/tools: PLC programming; MES systems; PLC/SCADA design; machine safety standards; control system architecture; CI/CD coordination and tooling support.
Create and adapt PLC programs to control production equipment and systems.
Coordinate and implement continuous integration and delivery solutions.
Optimize, maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability/performance; support development teams with automation tools/processes.
Qualified university or civil engineer with several years’ automation/PLC programming experience.
Fluency in English and Swedish.
Strong interest in automation and process improvement.
Experience with MES systems.

Are you an experienced Automation Engineer/PLC programmer looking for a new challenge? At TMC, we are looking for passionate and committed engineers with strong enthusiasm for optimizing and automating robots, production lines, and factories.
In this role, you will play a central part in creating and adapting PLC programs to control production equipment and systems. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing solutions for continuous integration and delivery. You will work on optimizing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and performance for our clients' systems. Your responsibilities also include supporting development teams with tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality in the client’s automation solutions.
You will work in a dynamic environment with close collaboration between various teams, giving you the opportunity to develop both technical and communication skills.
What We Expect From You
We are looking for someone who is a qualified university or civil engineer with several years of experience as an Automation Engineer/PLC Programmer or similar. You are driven by improving and streamlining systems and processes and have a strong interest in automation. We assume that you are fluent in both English and Swedish. It is advantageous if you have experience in: - Working with and developing MES systems. - Designing and implementing PLC/SCADA systems. - Working with machine safety and related standards. - Developing control systems and their architecture.
