QA Automation Lead

Alpharetta, GA – Hybrid (currently every Thursday in-office; may shift to 3+ days)

12 + Months

$45/HR on W2

Responsibilities

Lead QA efforts across multiple Agile projects, coordinating with UAT teams, IT, and external stakeholders.

Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Manage non-prod environments, including data refreshes, test data setup, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with business UAT teams and vendors to ensure timely testing and sign-offs.

Debug, monitor, and manage code defect escalations; work closely with developers.

Develop test plans for scalability, security, functionality, and usability; execute and report results.

Apply Test-Driven (TDD) or Behavior-Driven (BDD) development methodologies within Agile/Scrum environments.

Utilize DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and scripting as needed.

Communicate effectively and manage time and task estimates efficiently.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years: QA Automation tools (Selenium, SOAPUI/Postman, qTest, Java, TestNG, Web Services, XML, REST API Testing)

6+ years: Functional testing experience

4+ years: Oracle SQL

Unix/Linux & scripting experience

Desired Skills

Telecom domain knowledge: Order provisioning & billing

Exposure to DevOps tools, cloud environments, open-source tools

AI/ML in test automation
