Role & seniority: Interns and Graduate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at FanCode; final-year students or recent graduates; potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
Stack/tools: Web and backend automation; Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress; JavaScript, Python, Java (or similar); CI/CD familiarity; production systems exposure.
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and backend systems.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure quality, scalable, and reliable releases; debug issues and improve test coverage.
Work on real production systems used by millions; explore AI/LLMs in testing or development workflows; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Final-year student or recent graduate from a Tier-1 engineering college; based in Mumbai.
Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar; strong problem-solving and quick-learning mindset; able to thrive in a high-ownership environment.
Exposure to AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation in testing/development.
Familiarity with modern QA practices, debugging techniques, test strategies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines; prior internship, academic projects, or hands-on work in software testing or development.
