Job Description CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a QA Manager to join our Boston studio team working on Project Cyberpunk 2, an exciting new AAA game currently in development. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading the QA team from the ground up while ensuring the highest quality standards across the project. You will drive the execution of the QA strategy, adapt it to the needs of the project, and collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver a top-tier gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and leading a new QA team dedicated to Project Cyberpunk 2, implementing the defined roles and responsibilities, and ensuring effective development plans for team members.
• Executing the QA strategy and adapting it to the specific needs of the project.
• Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance workflows and optimize efficiency across the project.
• Establishing and monitoring quality metrics, setting quality standards, and ensuring proper use of tools and processes.
• Collaborating with external QA vendors to ensure strong cooperation, clear communication, and alignment with project quality expectations.
• Managing risks and dependencies by identifying potential issues early and creating action plans to address them.
• Driving change management initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders understand and adopt necessary changes.
• Regularly auditing processes and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality.
• Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of game industry experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering AAA games.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard game development processes and methodologies.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience, with a history of managing senior staff across disciplines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience setting up QA processes for cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Experience with risk management, quality control, and change management in large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Experience with multiplayer games.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
