WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US For Testing Services department, we are hiring a Senior Testing Services Consultant who is a highly skilled professional in areas of testing engineering, consulting, and operation of SaaS solutions with focus on continuous testing, efficiency, test automation to ensure reliable service delivery to SimCorp clients You will have a great opportunity to use your test expertise to contribute globally to development and optimization of our services (Continuous Testing and Conventional Upgrade). In this role, the Senior Testing Services Consultant should demonstrate leadership skills, advocate continuous learning and improvement grounded in Agile & Lean methodology and DevOps practices, apply creative testing approaches, and collaborate with local and global teams within SimCorp WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the seamless integration of automated tests within our pipeline Create well-structured automated test cases grounded in analyzed customer requirements and scope Leverage modern AI technologies to design and implement advanced automated test suits contributing to increasing efficiency of testing Report detected deviations and carrying them out through the whole defect lifecycle Lead collaboration across other business units at SimCorp to reduce dependency and remove impediments Conduct regular meetings with clients Lead project planning and execution on a team level Regularly participate in relevant CoPs (Community of Practice) Accelerate knowledge transfer by conducting training, ad-hoc coaching and help in boosting x-teams collaboration WHAT WE VALUE Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. Knowledge of software upgrade and implementation project processes, Software Testing Life Cycle, incident management, standard test deliverables Have 3-5+ year experience in testing, business analysis or consulting role working on complex systems ideally within a financial domain. Experience in implementation of Agile practices and frameworks Previous experience in test automation is required Solid data analysis skills and attention to detail, be familiar with SQL and able to write scripts to work with data Unsupervised design, development and implementation of test automation scripts is a plus. A relevant software testing qualification/s e.g. ISTQB (or equivalent) is a plus Upper-intermediate English Analytical mindset and a solution-focused attitude.
