ABOUT QACI The Quantum AI & Cyber Security Institute (QACI) is a strategic research institute established by FPT Corporation to advance foundational and applied technologies in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Technologies, and Cyber Security.
QACI operates through a network of independent, specialized research laboratories, focusing on

POSITION OVERVIEW The Head of Research & International Collaboration is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing QACI’s science, technology, and R&D strategy, while driving international research collaboration. This role serves as a strategic connector between research – education – industry – and global partners, contributing to QACI’s ambition to become a nationally and internationally recognized research and innovation institute within the FPT ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Science, Technology & R&D Leadership
Define and manage strategic plans for
- Fundamental research
- Applied research
- Research and experimental development (R&D)
- Oversee and coordinate R&D-as-a-Service projects
Propose, establish, and grow core technology research groups in areas such as
- Artificial Intelligence
- Quantum Technologies
- Cyber Security and related deep-tech domains
- International Collaboration & Partnerships
Establish and maintain partnerships with
- Universities
- Research institutes
- International organizations (domestic & global)
Lead negotiation, signing, and execution of
- MoUs / MoAs
- Joint research projects
- Faculty, researcher, and student exchange programs
Act as the primary liaison for partners in key regions, including
- Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, UK, France, Singapore, USA, China
- Academic & Research Community Building

- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
PhD (preferred) or Master’s degree in

Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following
- Scientific research
