Responsibilities

Role description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright. Perform API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases. Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to closure. Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and test strategy discussions. Ensure automation coverage, maintain reusable test frameworks, and optimize execution pipelines.

Required Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing for web-based applications. Proven expertise in Playwright (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python-based scripting). Solid experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools). Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Ability to write clear, concise test cases and automation scripts. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) is an added advantage.

Good To Have

Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) Experience with version control tools like Git Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
