Akkodis is seeking a QA Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA(Hybrid). The ideal candidates will support embedded system quality by testing early hardware prototypes and writing automation scripts.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

Test embedded systems, sensors, and firmware to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Write automated test scripts and run both manual and automated tests on early hardware prototypes. Document test cases, results, and issues clearly to support development and debugging. Collaborate with development teams to validate new features and understand system behavior. Assist in building test tools, fixtures, and automation setups to improve testing efficiency. Track, report, and help drive resolution of issues discovered during testing.

Required Qualifications

Engineering degree (CS, EE, CE, or related), or equivalent coursework/experience 1–2 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware testing, or quality engineering Strong coding fundamentals in Python or similar scripting languages Experience working with embedded systems, sensors, or early‑stage hardware prototypes.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
