Role & seniority: QA Engineer, 4–7 years of experience (mid-level to senior). Fast-paced environment; capable of independent QA work.
Stack/tools: manual and automated testing of web-based applications; ERP software testing; web services/API testing; common web/API/DB architectures; test case management; test strategy and test plans; Agile/Scrum.
Perform manual and automated testing, verify functionalities match requirements, and document issues with priority/severity.
Create detailed test cases, test strategies, and test plans; review functional/technical docs to identify requirements.

Description
Perform testing against various internal business applications. Work closely with the QA team and across multiple development teams. Identify, evaluate and document issues with appropriate priority and severity. Execute manual/automated testing and verify that functionalities/applications work as expected. Conduct test case reviews to ensure test scenarios accurately capture business functionality and requirements. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in different Automation frameworks. Enjoys multitasking on a daily basis. Collaborate closely with the QA team and Software Developers to keep test case suites up to date. Participate in regular Scrum meetings. Able to write detailed test cases and clear and concise bug reports. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategy and test plans. Review functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements.
Requirements
4-7 years of experience. Communication skills and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the QA Engineer to hit the ground running with a focus on manual testing. The successful candidate should possess manual testing experience on web-based applications, as well as a demonstrated ability to create detailed test specifications, test strategy and test plans. Candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams and the product owners. Experience in testing ERP software. Working knowledge of common software architectures (web/API/DB). Experience with web services/API testing. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, confident, quick learner, and critical thinker. Experience working on medium to large software projects and being able to drive the QA process independently.
