🚀 We’re Hiring: Junior–Mid Level Software Tester (Hybrid | Full-Time) 📍 Tysons, VA (Washington, DC Area | Occasional Philadelphia Travel)

Diverse Business Systems, Inc. (DBS) is seeking a motivated Junior–Mid Level Software Tester to support STORES 2.0, a large-scale modernization program built on the ServiceNow platform. 💼 About the Role As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring system quality, performance, security, and compliance. You’ll partner with developers, business analysts, and fellow QA professionals to validate requirements, identify defects, and deliver reliable solutions. This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Washington, DC area.

✅ What You’ll Do Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and accessibility testing Create detailed test cases using user stories and acceptance criteria Utilize ServiceNow ATF and Jira for test management and defect tracking Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and validate fixes Lead and support Section 508 accessibility testing Prepare test documentation, reports, and user guides Manage test data and evaluate regulatory compliance Support continuous improvement initiatives Work cross-functionally with DevOps, UI/UX, and business teams

🎯 What We’re Looking For

U. S. Citizen with DoD Public Trust (or higher) and ability to obtain DLA CAC

• 3+ years of software testing experience, including ServiceNow

Experience with

• Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments
• Manual and automated testing
• API and performance testing
• Jira and defect management tools
• Federal/DoD program support
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification (Security+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Knowledge of security and compliance testing
