Plan and conduct penetration tests on vehicle systems (networks, ECUs, firmware, telematics, infotainment, connected services, mobile apps/backend APIs)
Perform vulnerability discovery/exploitation under guidance; document findings for technical and non-technical audiences
Support remediation efforts with engineering teams; develop test cases, checklists, and automated scripts; stay current with threats and automotive security standards
Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
2–5 years in cybersecurity or penetration testing (academic projects count)
Basic–to–intermediate pentesting methodologies and tools
Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI)
Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware concepts, low-level programming (C/C++, Python)
Interest/grounding in automotive networks/protocols
Fluent English (spoken/written)
Experience with automotive security standards
