Project Overview

• This international engineering project in the automotive environment is focused on the systematic automation, stabilization, and quality assurance of test activities across multiple vehicle platforms, system architectures, and markets.
• The role involves the development, operation, and continuous improvement of automated tests for connected vehicle systems within a German OEM environment, as well as the integration of automation results into release, integration, and readiness processes.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (category B)
• Several years of hands-on experience in automotive or infotainment testing
• Experience with field testing and working on real vehicles
• Experience with automotive diagnostic and analysis tools
• Strong experience in log and trace analysis for root cause identification
• Experience in test case execution, test planning, and test reporting
• English language skills (written and spoken)
• Valid work permit for Germany
• Structured, analytical, and independent working style

Nice to Have

• Experience with pre-series or prototype vehicle
• High-voltage training or basic HV knowledge
• Experience in international engineering project environments
• Experience with release and integration phases in vehicle development

Responsibilities

• Execute basic and extended tests on infotainment and connectivity systems (e.g. registration processes, pairing flows, certificates, profile downloads, service and operations lists)
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on connected vehicle systems
• Conduct static and dynamic field tests (test drives) as a driver and/or test engineer
• Perform software updates on test vehicles or test benches (flashing, coding)
• Participate in daily test briefings and technical alignments
• Record, analyze, and evaluate logs and traces for root cause analysis
• Set time markers and prepare log files for technical investigation
• Identify technical anomalies, blockers, and critical issues
• Provide technical feedback and coordinate findings with development, integration, and project teams
• Create test reports, status summaries, and technical overviews
