Job Summary

The Test Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing processes. With a focus on automation and generative AI the candidate will contribute to the development and execution of test frameworks. This position requires expertise in Auto-Verification and validation and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash and CAPL.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects. Utilize Automation Desk and vTestStudio to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Design and execute automated test scripts using Python Bash and CAPL. Apply generative AI techniques to enhance test coverage and accuracy. Conduct thorough verification and validation of software components in the automotive domain. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Continuously improve test frameworks to adapt to evolving project requirements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes. Coordinate with project managers to align testing activities with project timelines. Travel as required to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Demonstrate proficiency in Automation Desk and vTestStudio for effective test automation. Exhibit strong scripting skills in Python Bash and CAPL for developing robust test scripts. Possess expertise in generative AI to innovate testing methodologies. Have a solid understanding of Auto-Verification and validation processes. Show excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration and reporting. Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Certifications Required

ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst
