Company OttePolo Group Location Remote (LATAM preferred) Full-time / Contractor (based on business needs) Role Overview OttePolo Group is seeking a detail-oriented Website QA & Content Specialist to ensure our websites are accurate, functional, user-friendly, and aligned with SEO and brand standards. This role focuses on manual website testing, content quality assurance, and basic WordPress edits—ideal for someone who is highly organized, methodical, and quality-driven. You will work closely with project managers, designers, developers, and content teams to identify issues, validate fixes, and continuously improve website quality across devices and browsers. Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite QA (Manual Testing) Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure responsiveness and consistent functionality.

Test website elements including

  • Forms
  • Menus and navigation
  • Links and buttons
  • Interactive features
  • Overall user experience
  • Validate functionality against project requirements and design specifications.

Identify, document, and report

  • Bugs
  • UI/UX issues
  • Content inconsistencies
  • using tools such as Wrike, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct regression testing after bug fixes, updates, or deployments.

Check page loading speed and basic performance metrics using tools like

  • Google PageSpeed Insights
  • GTmetrix
  • WordPress Support (Basic Level)
  • Make basic text and content edits in WordPress (no advanced development required).
  • Fix formatting issues, broken links, and simple layout inconsistencies.
  • Validate content placement and display across desktop and mobile.
  • Ensure updates follow internal standards and client requirements.

Review website content for

  • Spelling
  • Grammar
  • Punctuation
  • Consistency and clarity
  • Ensure copy aligns with client brand tone, style guides, and formatting rules.

Identify and flag

  • Duplicate content
  • Outdated or incorrect information
  • Collaborate with content writers and project leads to suggest improvements and corrections.
  • SEO & On-Page Validation

Verify correct implementation of SEO fundamentals, including

  • Meta titles and descriptions
  • Header structure (H1, H2, H3)
  • Alt text for images
  • Clean and consistent URL structures
  • Review on-page SEO elements such as keyword placement and metadata accuracy.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in website QA, content QA, or digital quality control.
  • Basic working knowledge of WordPress (editing text, pages, posts).
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
  • Solid understanding of manual QA processes (not automated).
  • Familiarity with issue tracking or project management tools (Wrike, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Strong written English skills.
